BIO

My Story

I graduated from the University of Tampa in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English. In 2014, I earned a Master of Arts degree in English with a concentration in rhetoric. I have taught in every educational setting from 1-on-1 tutoring, traditional schools, charter schools, online distance learning, and up to the collegiate level. I was runner up for Polk County Charter teacher of the year in 2017, I earned an Endowed teaching chair while working for Polk State College.
In all my years in the system, here’s what I’ve found: there is no one right way to do school. Our children are all unique, and have very different learning needs. As a mother of a neurodivergent child, I can most definitely attest to that. It is a brave and wonderful thing that homeschool parents and families are doing for their students. I want to use my expertise to support their endeavors. Homeschool evaluation is just one part of the services I offer. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for anything you need!
