ABOUT ME

Professionally, I have been in education since 2009. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Tampa. In 2014, and I earned my Master's degree in English with a concentration in rhetoric. I am passionate about educating the whole student, and while I have worked in the traditional setting, I have spent the majority of my career in charter schools, or at the collegiate level.

Personally, I am the mother of a non-neurotypical child. The traditional school model is not set up for him to succeed. He is not alone. Knowing this, I have made it my goal to assist as many people as I can achieve a quality, individualized education for their children.

I have written two picture books and I'm working on a young adult novel. I am committed to fostering a lifelong love of reading in my students.
